It’s been a long and varied journey since the release of his debut back in 2002 which breathed new life into drum'n'bass. A whole heap of producers have come and gone, whilst others have taken direct influence from his lead. His second album ‘High Society’ proved he was still on point with anthems such as ‘Racing Green’ and ‘Basement Track’.

‘Tough Guys Don’t Dance’ shows why he has become the drum'n'bass producer that even people who don't like drum'n'bass listen to; Missy Elliot, White Stripes, Blaze and Basement Jaxx have all been remixed by him.

The album features some exciting collaborations and guest performances, from the vocal gymnastics of jazz wizard Ian Shaw to the legendary dance diva styles of Diane Charlemagne right through to the country tinged soul searching of Linda Gale-Lewis (sister of rock'n'roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis no less).

‘Tough Guys Don't Dance’ is as much music for the dancefloor as it is the soundtrack to an unwritten film, drawing its influence from a wide range of sources, and maintaining High Contrast’s appeal to fans of broad musical persuasions.
