Layo & Bushwacka have finished recording their third album ‘Feels Closer’.

The follow up to 2002’s 100,000 selling ‘Night Works’ album, which spawned the UK Top 10 anthem ‘Love Story’, was recorded in London, Brazil and New York.

Speaking about the album, Layo explains that the album takes influence from the three recording locations, with the final product very much the Layo & Bushwacka sound of now: "Half the album is downtempo and laidback. It’s probably our warmest work to date, and features an array of fantastic singers and musicians, which is a new direction for us. Our recording in New York and Brazil was a major influence and is reflected in the variety of music on the album. We feel very connected with this work and where we want to be musically, and in our lives, hence the title Feels Closer".

'Feels Closer' is to be released on Layo Paskin and Matthew Benjamin’s own Olmeto Records label.

The first single, aimed firmly at the dancefloor, ‘Life2Live’ features a guest vocal from the mighty Green Velvet and is aimed squarely at the dancefloor.
